After many hours on the internet and much deliberation, we have chosen and booked our photographer - hurray! It was a lot harder than we thought to find someone who's style we both liked but we got there in the end. We found Graeme Brown through a recommendation from Suzanne Black, a photographer who was at the Perth wedding fair but who wasn't available on our date.
There are not many photographers in Scotland who have a creative "modern vintage" style (if that even makes sense!) I like how even the posed photos have a more informal and relaxed feel about them.
I think a lot of the work can also be in the post-production stage and this is where some photographers seem to fall down, but not Graeme - I think it's one of his strengths. Some don't seem to do any, some go over the top and do too much (soft focus *shudder*) and Graeme gets it just right.....

another good one, different to the norm. |

looks like a great comedy moment there. |
|
a picture that told a story for the couple (who were emigrating) |
|
everyone is usually looking at the bride so this is a nice shot from the groom's point of view |
