FLOWER GIRL DRESSES
There are so many cute flower girl dresses around and they all seem to be £50-60 mostly however if you look in the "party" section of most department stores rather than "wedding", there are just as pretty dresses but a fraction of the cost! Here's a fine example from Debenhams in the party section under the brand Blue Zoo. It's only £32 and very cute - will have to check out what it looks like in real life (also comes in pink).

Marks and Spencers do really nice looking traditional tea time cakes from their pre-order food range. We could get them delivered to one of the parents house to take up on the Saturday.

kilt jacket
Hubby to be and I went to Edinburgh this weekend to a shop on the Royal mile called Heritage of Scotland. They have a really good website and a very large collection of tweed fabrics for the kilt jackets. We decided on an argyll jacket with antique silver butttons (rather than the usual shiney silver ones) and a lovely tweed in a dark blue which sits well with his MacEwan ancient tartan.

Just found the cutest little cakes in a great farm shop. They are a great way to have fruit cake at the wedding without spending a small fortune on a 'proper' wedding cake. I like the little round ones but there's heart shaped ones too. They are also ideal for people who may not like marzipan or icing and just want to get to the cake!

Betty's Tea Room is a famous Yorkshire establishment that is well known for it's tea and cakes. They have some great wedding cake alternatives on their website (as well as the traditional wedding cake) I like the look of these cute little fondnat fancies..

DRESSES from Nordstrom
Just found a great website - JS Collections which is a brand sold in House of Fraser. LOTS of lovely slinky nice dresses and (kind of mostly) within budget! Only downside is we'd have to buy them online.
